Happy Wheels, by title alone, seems like a game title with talking cars that sing songs together and drive under rainbows, collecting cookie coins along the way. Instead, is one of the goriest games, if not the goriest game, that we have played on my own iPad.

Now, mind you, I don’t actively look for gory games, so people who happen to be “Modern Zombie Slayer Shooter Soldier 3” veterans won’t bat an eye at Happy Wheel’s carnage, but those of you who are searching for a game title to give your kids to keep them quiet while you grocery shop may wish to carry on looking.

With the taken care of, Happy Wheels can be a silly physics-focused game who had me chuckling at the misfortunes how the protagonist was enduring at my hands.

The game is broken apart into level sets with each level set utilizes another character. I can’t comment on greater than the default character since he happens to be the only one available. I have the sense that additional characters should come at a price, as typically the base game is provided for free, although with ads.

The entirety of involves moving a guy on the Segway through gauntlet of deadly traps and also to a finish line. All of the (currently) 15 levels host an alternative layout and lots of surprises to catch players off-guard. The protagonist can suffer an amazing amount of bodily problems for boot, allowing players to continue their attempt long after a typical person might have passed outside the sheer shock of experiencing their limbs ripped out.

Players even have the ability to crawl onwards, after their Segway has broken, with floppy limb controls that reminded me of QWOP. It’s all a bloody mess, but it’s ridiculous enough to where it’s just plain funny.

While Happy Wheels is a completely playable game, the game’s physics remain rough round the edges. About 50 % of reasons why I’d fail a level was as the physics engine acted up, and glitched, resulting in me obtaining some horrid injury. It is silly initially, but when you’re seeking to actually accomplish something, the physics are definitely more of any obstacle compared to actual obstacles themselves.

Overall though, for the free game, Happy Wheels may be worth exploring, just to the free laughs your initial playthrough gives you. Don’t expect any deep learning curves 87dexrpky master, and understand that success is largely depending on how much the physics engine decides it loves or hates you during that particular run, and will keep you entertained with the day.
